Alliance Bank of Arizona is announcing today that it is opening a new office in North Scottsdale in the Scottsdale Airpark. The Airpark is one of the largest employment centers in the Phoenix metro area. With the new office, Alliance Bank will be the largest local business bank of its size and capacity in the area.  The office is located near Hayden Road and Raintree Road at 15100 North 78th Way, Suite 101. The bank will occupy 3600+ square feet in a premier office building adjacent to the Scottsdale Airport runway.

The North Scottsdale office is the tenth location for Alliance Bank, which also is celebrating its tenth year in business. The bank also has a second Scottsdale office on Scottsdale Road. Alliance Bank, which started with a single office and 20 employees in 2003, today ranks seventh in deposit market share among all 66 banks doing business in Arizona. A leading business lender, Alliance Bank has built a reputation for its responsiveness, local expertise and reliability as a lending resource.  With assets of $2.7 billion, Alliance Bank has over $2 billion in outstanding loans and has loaned over $1.5 billion since 2009.

Alliance Bank’s new North Scottsdale location will be home to a well-known senior business lending team providing full service corporate and professional banking, commercial real estate lending, equipment financing, franchise and small business lending, deposit and treasury management services. The bank also offers a full range of professional and executive banking services.

The Scottsdale Airpark is home to 52,000 employees, 2,848 businesses and over 33,000,000 square feet of buildings. Many leading companies, including GoDaddy, JDA Software and Meritage Homes, have headquarters in the Airpark or surrounding North Scottsdale area.

Julian Fruhling, senior vice president and regional manager of Alliance Bank of Arizona will manage and work from the new office. With 22 of his 37 years in banking in the Arizona market, Fruhling draws on extensive experience in commercial lending and relationship management, serving some of Scottsdale’s leading businesses, professionals and community organizations, and is actively involved in the community, including his past service as chairman of the board of Scottsdale Healthcare.

Michael Theile, senior vice president, Commercial Lending, will also be on the North Scottsdale team.  Theile draws on over 15 years of banking experience in Scottsdale and greater Phoenix, including senior lending management positions in the greater Phoenix market.

“As a long-time resident and banker in this area, I am especially excited about the opportunities to help local businesses here with direct access to business lending resources and experienced bankers who know the market,” said Julian Fruhling. “We already have a strong customer base in North Scottsdale, for which our new office will provide an added convenience. Our North Scottsdale team will draw on 50 years of combined experience in the industry to work with business owners to gain funding, grow their businesses and help to expand the local community.  We are strongly committed to ‘local first – buy local, bank local’.”

“We are pleased that the success of Alliance Bank and our customers is enabling us to continue our expansion into key business centers in Arizona,” said Jim Lundy, Alliance Bank CEO.  “Alliance Bank is designed to meet the growing needs of Arizona businesses as a strong local resource that understands the market and can respond quickly to our customers’ needs.”

The North Scottsdale Office is the second Alliance Bank office in Scottsdale. The existing location, renamed as the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Office, is located on Scottsdale Road near Cheney Drive. The bank is also planning to add an eleventh office, located in Chandler next year.
